The panel will discuss leading an effective CANDOR current state assessment and gap analysis. Specifically, the panelists will:
Discuss understanding the AHRQ CANDOR (Communication and Optimal Resolution) toolkit and domains.
Explain the Gap Analysis process, and why it’s crucial to implementation.
Assess who to engage in the CANDOR Gap Analysis process.
Identify the roles and skills needed in an effective CANDOR Gap Analysis team.
Examine the Samaritan Health Services experience in doing a CANDOR Gap Analysis.
Discuss challenges, successes and lessons learned from a CANDOR Gap Analysis.
Julie received her law degree at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, with a concentration in Health Law and Compliance. She completed legal externships with the Communication and Optimal Resolution Team (CANDOR), as well as the Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission (PQAC) and FAVROS Law firm, with a focus in Medical Malpractice Defense.
