Pete Peters Awarded "Justice Champion" by the Spokane County Bar Assoc. Volunteer Lawyers Program

Pete Peters has received the 2020-2021 Justice Champion award from the Spokane County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyer Program for his volunteer efforts. Pete volunteers with the Volunteer Lawyer Program (VLP) assisting clients in family law matters related to child custody and parenting plans. Through Pete’s selfless efforts, families have found solace during what can be a tense period. Pete volunteered nine hours of his time in 2020, earning him this honorable recognition.

The VLP Program, founded in 1985, is a 501(c)(3) legal assistance non-profit program of the Spokane County Bar Association. The VLP connects volunteer attorneys with primarily low-income individuals in Spokane County and seven outlying counties. The VLP provides free legal counsel and representation in civil matters through education, advice through clinics, and in-court volunteering.

Pete earned his J.D. from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. Pete is also a retired U.S. Army Medical Corps Officer and a former healthcare executive having served as a COO, CIO, and CEO of various healthcare organizations and systems across the United States. Additionally, he is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licensed flight instructor for airplanes and helicopters.

Pete focuses his law practice on estate planning and asset protection, as well as health law. Pete represents clients in Washington, Oregon, and New Mexico.
